West Bin, together with our partners at WA Glass take care of all the glass bottles that are deposited at all Containers of Change refund locations in the Perth, Peel and Wheat belt areas.
Once you receive your refund, the bottle will be placed into one of our hook lift bins for transport to the WA Glass processing facility. Here the glass is sorted by colour, loaded into containers and transported to a glass manufacturer to make new bottles! Old bottles being made into new bottles right here in Australia, how good is that?!!!
This new initiative will help our State achieve our landfill diversion targets and we are very proud to be a part of it.
