Types of Waste You Can Put in Your Skip

Most of your general household and construction waste can be placed in a skip, however some hazardous and liquid wastes are prohibited to protect our staff and the environment. These include:
- No Asbestos
- No Tyres
- No Food waste
- No Liquid Waste (Oils, Thinners, Paint etc)
- No Wet cement
- No Batteries
- No LPG cylinders, fire extinguishers or gas bottles
- No Hazardous or dangerous goods
Remember most local councils will provide a free drop off service of old paints and oils.
Also remember not to fill the skip past the top of the bin, to ensure we protect our staff and other road users.
